6.0 Diesel performance chip

6.0 Diesel performance chip
Does anyone know if the new 6.0 diesel can be enhanced with a performance chip? I assume the potential will be substantialy less than the 7.3 PSD considering the smaller foot print of the 6.0 liter engine.

Until they actually exist, and even then not until we actually do the R&D on them will anyone be able to say anything of intelligence or accuracy with regard to their potential room for power improvement via powertrain programming. Obviously that won't be known until the engine exists and we'd had time to do the actual R&D on it's tuning, and currently Ford says the 6.0 motor won't be seen until probably next Spring. Hopefully it'll be out before then, but last word was Spring, maybe they'll surprise us!
One thing is for darn sure, it'll have room for improvment, there hasn't been a single computer controlled vehicle from Ford (or any other automaker that I can think off at the moment) that couldn't be improved upon in it's tuning (and just about everything else as well).
