all the facts?

Hey guys,
I've acquired a ton of info about the f150 and mods, but i want to make sure i understand a few things before i start spending money. I have not done any mods in since purchasing my 02 screw a month ago. I know i want a superchip, a fipk, and gibson sweepside exhaust. My question is, do i need to wait and do the chip last to avoid reburning it or can i install it first and do the other mods later?

any help would be great

thanks,,
mike

You can install it first. I think before you need ot actually get the chip reburned, you can install a cat-back, intake kit, pulleys, and electric fans. For things like throttle bodies, fuel injectors, larger MAS, headers, ... you need ot get it reburned. Mike will know more.

Hi Mike,

Doing those 3 specific types of modifications, meaning the Superchip, the intake kit and the cat-back exhaust, no, you do not need any custom tuning, and you can literally do those 3 mods in any order you like, no problem!

Just as an aside, here's a couple of tips on your intake & exhaust choices you might want to consider..........................

The Magnaflow cat-back system is the only system that shows positive torque results at literally any throttle position and at any rpm, and it also shows the highest peak horsepower gains, clearly superior flow engineering. It's a much better choice than anything from Gibson, Flowmaster, or anyone else in our testing experience, having tested virtually every "name" brand in cat-back exhausts & airbox elimination kits for these F-150's. The Magnaflow is T-304 stainless steel as well.

On the intake kit, some people use the term "FIPK" to generically refer to all intake kits, but just in case you're thinking of going with the actual K&N FIPK kit on this, you might want to take a look at the Air Force One intake instead, as you'll get more power gains and much higher quality materials, T-304 polished stainless steel.

By all means, do whatever you feel most comfortable with, we're just letting you know which parts will actually do the best job for your truck, in case that may be a consideration for you....................

For those who want to maximize bang for the buck in those 3 areas at the lowest total price, we also offer our Stage 1 kit. Comprised of the Superchip, the Air Force One intake kit, and the Magnaflow exhaust, that gives the vehicle owner a very aggressive total delivered price for all 3 of the best parts of their kind.

Just FYI...................

Good luck with your modifications, & if we can be of assistance, or if you'd just like to tal;k with someone to go over any of this or anything else performance-related about these vehicles, feel free to give us a call.
