how to read and interpret a dyno graph?

my question for all you experts out there is this?

how do you read a dyno graph?

to you record the max horse power and torque off the shift spike from 2nd to 3rd gear wich is what th machine keys in on for your max #'s, or do you record what your #'s are across the whole rpm range.

i have had 2 dynoe's done on my 00 f-150 5.4l and am not sure how i should interpret this dyno..

Hi Jason,

This was also covered in our lengthy phone call the other evening, so by now we've gone over all of this with you in detail.

It's quite an experience really learning about this in detail, chassis dyno's, techniques, methods, etc. as well as interpreting those printed results, that's a complete science unto itself!

Best of luck & have fun with your truck,
