Hi Supertruck2000,

Yes, we can do that.

Even if you step up to The F250 Super Duty instead of the F250 Light Duty, if it has the 5.4 V-8 gas engine, we can still reprogram the Superchip from your 1998 4.2 V-6 for that 5.4, sure!

What you'll want to do when you get your new truck is to check to see it's computer code (on the F-150 LD it's in the same place it is on your F-150, if it's a Super Duty it's in the same place but over on the Driver's side instead of the passenger side) and check with us to make sure we already have that code available. We probably do, but you'll want to check with us just to make sure before sending your Superchip back in to us for the reprogramming for the new truck.

No problem, & good luck picking out your next new truck!
