looking around at diferent chips
is there anyway to get a modified speedometer to tell how fast you are going after 100, or do you just have to go 100+ mph by one of those radar trailers in a 30mph zone?

Depending on model year, you can do this right on your own dash. If you have a 1999 or newer F-150 with the digital odometer, you can simply turn that digital odo into a number of different gauges, including a digital speedo that will read as fast as you can go.
Just hold down the trip odometer reset button while starting the engine, and as soon as you see the display say "test," *immediately* release that reset button, and then you can toggle thru, pressing the reset button to change which gauge the digital odometer transforms into, until you get the digital speedo, & you're all set!

I got this trick to work, but I don't know what the diffrent gages are. Some are kinda obvious, others use a code for the abbreviation. Do you know what the codes mean? Could you list a table of which abbreviation is which gage?

Glad that helped, it is a neat little undocumented "extra," and we don't get many "extras" these days!
Actually, we don't use that for anything in day to day operations around here, so I couldn't give you a complete list of what each test gauge's symbol is. Just as you mentioned, some are obvious and some are very obscure.
Because we do that almost never, really only to show someone that this can be done, we just don't have the list of symbols memorized. You might find that in a service manual.
