Mike T. Got a question
Mike T, i'm assuming you have been busy or didn't get my email yet. Anyway, its no big deal, i was just wondering how much a super chip flip chip for my 00 HDf150 5.4L was. And about how much hp/tq is it good for? I also wanted to know how much an Air Force One fipk for my truck would cost. I saw it at another truck accessory site for 230, but I heard from ken800 that you could get it cheaper? Thanks alot for any info.
Hi Harley# 356,
I have to apologize, as the reality is that I wouldn't have a clue if we got an email from you or not, because "Harley#356" is just one of the tens of thousands of anonymous screen names here at F-150 Online. Your screen name doesn't tell me who you are, so at this moment I don't know if I've seen an email from you yet or not off the top of my head.
If you need to communicate with us in a timely manner, you'll want to pick up the phone and call us, because right now it will take a few days to get a personal response from me in email. That is due to our extremely heavy email load, much of which is like this: "I'm batman 942, how much power am I making?." See what I mean? Who the heck is batman942? What does he drive, what modifications have been done?!?
F-150 Online has firm policies (that we all had to agree to when registering to post here on the message boards) which prohibit the discussion or posting of any specific pricing information here on the message boards by anyone. Accordingly, for any price information you'll need to contact us privately, & thanks in advance for your understanding on that.
They do that here for a very good reason, to keep these message boards free of what is considered "blatant commercial content."
What I'd suggest is to just give us a quick call when you get a chance, I can even call you right back so it's on our dime if you like. That way we can spend some time going over all your individual questions, give you all the exact pricing information, go over our combo deals, the power gains & performance improvement information, etc., all the things you want and need to know.
Since you're looking at a couple of types of modifications, it will probably be best for you to do one of our combo deals, perhaps the special Superchip & Air Force One combo deal we have, or one of our others. That way you'll get the lowest possible total pricing for your parts. That's up to you of course, we can always work out a nice package deal or do things one at a time, whatever it takes to make you happy.
I look forward to speaking with you,

Sorry about that Mike. I thought i said i was Harley#356 on f150 online in the email, but i may not have. Even if i did, I know what you mean by not recognizing a name or email with a screen name. Gets confusing and i'm sure i dont' get as much email as you
.
I understand the time thing too. Sorry if i was making it seem like i was trying to rush you. I realize that you must be very busy.
I was also reluctant to make my last post on the price cuz i know what you mean about that "blatant commercial content." . I was gonna call you, but didn't notice a number from your sig. Probably there, i probably missed it.
I'll check out your sig again for the number, give you a call tomorrow hopefully.
Thanks again for the help.

Hi Harley #356,
No problem at all, & please don't worry about it. I just had to thoroughly explain, and anytime I'm doing that, I'm usually doing that not only to the person I'm directly responding to, you, but also to the many people who read every post on these boards, that's all.
Many times people think, and it's just human nature, that because they may have communicated with me at some point either here on F-150 Online, or in email, or even over the phone, that I'll remember what screen name matches which persons real name from that past communication, etc., but that's just not possible with as many people as we communicate with. Maybe I need one of those speed-memory courses!
Also, don't worry about "rushing" me, when you want information, you want it now, we're almost all the same way in that regard, maybe me most of all, and I think that is also just human nature. I wish we could respond instantly to all our incoming emails & the posts here on F-150 Online, as I know *exactly* how it feels to want to know something, while it's fresh on your mind and your interest is up.
I should be able to get caught up on my personal email over this weekend hopefully, so that by the time Monday rolls around I should be back to my normal overload.
Usually, our normal email response time runs about 2-3 days, but there are a few times a year when it will be a week, like close to Rally time, or when we're introducing a new product, like this week with our new F-150 Electric Fan Kit.
Feel free to give us a shout whenever you get a chance, whenever it's convenient for you, & we'll be happy to spend some time with you going over everything in detail.
Thanks for your post!

Hi Harley#356,
Our "official" hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, from 10 am to 7 pm Eastern time.
However, you can call anytime, no problem! We have 24hr. voicemail, so you can leave a message for say, Customer Service, or leave a message specifically for Tech Support, in which case that kind of call gets returned even over the weekend. When you leave a message for Tech Support, we do return those calls over the weekend, we check that a couple times a day on Saturday and on Sunday. If it's not a Tech Support call, then it gets returned on the next business day.
We just checked messages, and there were no Tech Support Calls, so I'm assuming you didn't leave a voicemail. In that case, maybe we'll get a chance to speak on Monday, just give us a call whenever it's convenient for you and if it's after hours, just leave us a name & a phone number for us to get back to you at.
