new exhaust....reburn?
new exhaust....reburn?
I am putting the stock exhaust from the h-pipe on back to the side exit tips (with 2 flowmasters) off a 2000 lightning on my 2000 4.6 auto. I used to have just a flowmaster with a turndown. Do I need a reburn for this or should I be fine?
thanks

Hi Matt,
Normally you do not need to change anything in the Superchip when you install a cat-back exhaust, to answer your question. However, in this case, because you will have an H-pipe, you *do* need to have us change that program because the H-pipe will increase scavenging and that causes the motor to run leaner as a result, so we'll need to correct the fuel curves for you and eliminate the lean condition.
Hope you like the new exhaust, & give us a shout to take care of that for you!
