All Go/ NO Show? All Show/ Llittle go??

Hey,

I have been reading about chips on the forums, and someone quoted that the jet Chip was Faster then the superchip? Mike, is this true or does it depend on the application. This may sound kinda bad, but mostly just want to go faster, and am not necassarily just gunning for Quality, ect... I know superchips may have the best customer service, return policy, ect, but I just want to FEEL the difference. I have not really FELT any difference on the mods that I have, just a little bit on the intake. Will Jet make me go faster then the Superchips? i am talking about Faster as in the 1/4 time, and off the line. And how do they compare to the Diablosport chip? I know i have asked a similar question earlier on in this forum, but I can't decide.

I also can't decide if i want to get rims or go fast? what do you think? All show/ no go? All go/ little show?

Jon

Jon,

I'm happy to help you with all of this, but realistically, that really isn't possible here with so many questions due to time constraints. In order for me to really help you with all this properly, you'll need to call us. What I suggest is for you get your questions lined up and then call us, and I'll personally spend some time with you going over your questions and "the basics" too, as well as filling you in on why you'll want to ignore much of what's posted on that other web site you've been quoting over here the past couple of days.

We're more than happy to help you separate the BS from reality, just give us a call and we'll go over your questions and explain some things you need to know and will want to know.

We can cover more in a 5 minute phone call that I can by sitting here typing for an hour, so please understand why I'm telling you that this has to be done by phone . I wish I could spend hours here answering all your questions, but it's just not possible, however, we darn sure *can* do all of that by phone for you!

You have to answer for yourself whether you are more concerned with looks (which only serve to bolster the ego, basically) or actually get some performance in that vehicle. You have to decide for yourself which is more important to you if you can't afford to do both. Me? I couldn't care less what the wheels look like, as long as I'm showing them all the tailights. Tthat's a joke, it means my vehicle is fast & how the wheels look is secondary to me.

There are some guys who will drop $100K in a custom show truck, but still have a stock V-6 under the hood. I'll never understand that personally, but it doesn't matter, as the only thing that counts is what the vehicle owner thinks!

And no, there isn't any other chip, whether it's Jet (the worst made, by the way) or Diablosport or any other that is going to add more power to your engine than the Superchip and do it safely, no other powertrain programming company has anywhere near the experience & knowledge of Superchips, or does work direclty for teh major automakers such as Ford, GM, Rover, Porsche, Honda, Renault, etc., as Superchips has been doing since 1983, when they basically invented the performance chip That should also give you some idea as to the value of the crappola that is posted on that other web site.

Get your questions together & give us a call. Trust me, you'll be darn glad you did.

Thumbs up Superchip

I have used the jet chip in my truck before, it did make a little difference. But the superchip was a bigger improvement. I can really feel a difference in my truck at all throttle positions. Trust Mike in what he says, he knows his products!!!

Talking

Mike-

Thanks VERY much for spending all that time sharing your suggestions with me. I think that I am going to go with performance first, as far as a chip, and some other minor mods, and then looks last... basically just rims. However, My friggen' APC white face gauge went out tonight because I accidentally turned up the "Stock" light dimmer ALL THE WAY , and the APC Gauge dimmer was also up all the way. I believe I overheated it or something, but I have had the EXACT same problem on a previous gauge... The one tonight was the replacement. SO, I have decided to buy the Nu image Flame Guage and see if Nu Image makes a better product then APC. But, i will still have some cash, AFter I put 2000 more into the Navigator for gas, licence Plates, insurance, and a payment. With this cash, I think I will call YOU UP for a superchip. You don't have to answer it on this post, because I will be calling within the next few days, BUT, i am thinking about ONE other mod RIGHT Before/ AT the same Time as the Superchip, so that I could get a custom burn possibly and Feel even more of a Difference. I am leaning towards the Transgo Shift kit which I found priced fairly well on a Website I was at,, but I am not sure What Transmission I have... So anyways, thanks for the Comments and I'll be calling you shortly.

Is that YOUR number in your Profile?

Hi Jon,

You're more than welcome, and I look forward to spending some time with you on the phone so I can go over everything much more thoroughly with you. By the way, don't feel that you can't call us until you're ready to order, we're happy to provide you with information so you can give it some thought before making your decisions, etc.

The phone number you see below is our main phone number, all our other lines roll over from that one, so that's the number you call to reach me as well.

Good luck!
