Sold truck...Questions
I just sold my F-150 and purchased a 2002 PSD. I have heard of the Superchip Micro-Tuner for the PSD, but do they also make chips for the PSD? If so, other than the obvious installation differences what are the differences in the two?
Question #2- I removed the chip from my F-150. Can this chip be reprogrammed to work in my wifes EXPY with a different computer code. Last, I drove my F-150 to the dealership after I removed the K&N FIPK and Superchip and could not believe the difference it made to the truck without those items. It's just not the same without them.

Yes, we can reprogram the Superchip from your F-150 to work in your wife's Expedition. It is a bit of a shocker when you remove the Superchip and intake kit as you did, to see just how much they were helping the performance all along.
Yes, we do still make the Superchip module for the PSD (Powerstroke diesel), but we only use them these days when custom programing is needed. We can still make the Superchip module for the PSD if you prefer, but the Micro Tuner is much easier and offers a better value, so that is what I would use.
The Micro Tuner has both the +60 hp emissions certified program as well as the +80 hp Offroad program, so you can use either one depending on how much power you want to make and how much you need to tow, etc., and installs in only 7-8 minutes without needing to know the computer code or ever even touch the computer. That's what everyone is using on their PSD's, the Micro Tuner, it give you 2 performance programs instead of just 1, and installs much easier without having to know the compurer code, as it automatically reads your comptuer's code, stores your factory program in the Micro Tuner, and then allows you to upload your chjoice of either the 60 hp or the 80 hp program, as well as retunring to stock if you want. It will automatically match the computer code of your vehicle, as the Micro Tuner has all the PSD codes built into it.
