Talking ???'s for Mike the Chip Man

Hey Mike, 1st thing 1st , please thank Anita(hope thats right) for helping me with the tech support. She was right, the contacts on the CMU still had that crap on them. Next, I just recently( about 3-4 days ago) got my chip from you guys (Flip chip-2001 Ford Harley Davidson F150 Supercrew) and have been contemplating some more mods. Since everybodys waiting on the next guy to be the first to put the new MSD Stacker 8 in to see what gains are gonna be made, Ive decided to go ahead and do it. ILL BE THE FIRST. But before I order it I wanted to know if i need a reprogram of my chip? and whats the cost if any? Im gonna go with new heads if that makes a difference also. I was also wondering if you can get other mods? I noticed in your vendor ad that you had other brands listed. Whats the deal? I need a HOOK-UP on some parts. Are you the guy? Please let me know what mods need reprograming so I dont have to keep bothering you about it. Ill just have to go ahead and get them all done at once. My wife will love that. HAHAHA yeah right. She'll probably ask for a divorce or a worse a Vacation and a shopping spree. Either way im gonna end up broke. But ill be Broke and //FAST// and have a nice truck to sleep in when she locks me out. My last will and testament to my wife."You can have the house and the car and the money, but im keeping the dog and my truck"

Hi Db,

Funny post!

Yes, I'll be happy to pass your thanks along to Anita, she loves to hear that she helped someone!

Normally we do not need to change tuning in the Superchip for a hotter ignition, I don't know the specs on the Stacker 8 unit off the top of my head. Assuming there's nothing earth-shatteringly different, we shouldn't need to change anything in the program just for that.

However, for a change of cylinder heads (which will no doubt also entail different camshafts), we do need to do a number of tuning changes for that. The costs we'll need to communicate privately about, as the polcies of F-150 Online prevent the discussion of pricing issues here to keep what is considered blatant commercial content off the boards. Thanks in advance for your understanding on that, & we can talk about that when you call to go over these other things as well, we'll just go over everything at one time.

In terms of what we can do for the performance of these F-150 platform (and most other Ford & GM trucks, SUV's & performance cars!) vehicles, we carry most types of parts, from intakes to exhausts to headers to superchargers to MAF's to TB's to ignition to you name it. So no problem there, we should be able to supply you with just about anything you need. Yes, we can HOOK YOU UP!

Since we need to cover a few things in some detail, the best thing to do is to give us a shout when you get a chance, and let's spend some time going over this properly. It won't take long, and we can handle just about anything you might need or want.

And we'll try to keep you out of divorce court!

Talk to you soon!

Cool Thanks

Thanks for the info. Youll be hearing from me shortly. Hopefully you can get me all the mods so that i dont have to wait on other dealers. Yeah and I think we should knock on wood for saying divorce 3 times and wishing for a faster truck in the same forum. Remember Dorthy, she said home three times whille clicking her heels and look what happened to her. Thanks Again
