Hi ya Mike. I read on another board that Diablo is going to make a flip style chip for the V10 with a 40 - 80 hp version. 80 hp seems like alot for a gasser. I think they call it the Delta? Have you heard anything about this? And yes questions were asked thinking someone mixed up a diesel chip and they were told it was gas/ V10 for sure. Thanks!

As you & others in that thread suspected, there won't be any 80 HP gain on the V-10 engine from any chip, regardless of brand. IF that could be done we would have done it long ago!

After carefully reading what was posted in that thread, we see that an 80 HP gain was not claimed specifically for the V-10 by the manufacturer or the vendor involved, to be fair to all that posted and who were quoted in that thread you referenced. It looks to me like that was just an assumption or misunderstanding somewhere along the way.

One thing that is accurate in that thread is that Diablo has been working for some time on a multi-program chip offering. We're not aware of a firm release date, but it's not vaporware, they are working on it.
