sorry in advance, i'm sure this has been covered, but i am having trouble finding the answer wthout search. i was wondering what kind of mileage increase i could get with a chip on the street(?) mode. My code is ZZT3. i want the flip chip so i am not running the performance mode all the time, but i also don't want to spend that much money if i am not going to get much of an increase. thanks for any info.

The schip may/maynot increase mpg....some get increase/some dont.

It might not be cost effective if your only looking for mpg and not interested in the real advantages of schip.

Example. My ride with fchip (87) I got a .90 increase in mpg on the hi-way under ideal driving conditions.. if i just bought the chip for mpg... simple math.

i was actually looking at the chip for performance gains, but with an increase in fuel efficiency, i would get a flip chip. if there is no increase, then i might as well just get a normal chip, i'd just rather not have it on performance all the time.

i wasn't looking at it just for MPG, just a benefit. thanks for the reply though.
