Question New to computerized performance

I have purchased a superchip for my 2000 Lightning and installed it and am happy with the results. My question is that I plan on doing some more mods to my truck and will need to have the chip reburned. I.E. blower pulley, nitrous, bigger maf, wheels. What I need to know is, how and where do I get it reburned? Is it just a matter of giving a performance shop a list of my mods, should I go through superchips. I'm aliitle confused on how it works, I'm used to carburators. Do I need to get it reburned after each mod or can I wait until I have all the mods installed and not hurt my truck?

Hi krzcwby,

Glad you dropped by!

We can reprogram your Superchip for any kind of performance modification that will affect tuning, including everything you listed and a lot more.

We can also supply the all of that upgrade hardware as well, as we have bolt-on parts to take these Lightnings all the way down into the mid-11's in the 1/4 mile, on the motor, no nitrous. We can also tune for nitrous as well, if you decide you are definitely going that route. Once you see how much performance can be gotten from that Lightning without nitrous, you might decide to forget the spray and make your power all on the motor, so it's there all the time. Either way, we can cover all your Lightning performance needs.

This is too involved to cover properly here on the message boards, so the best thign to do is to please just give us a call when you get a chance, and we'll be happy to go over everything with you in detail. We can help you map out the most cost-effective route to getting that Lightning flying just as fast as you want it. We'll go over what order to do things in, which modifications to do and in what order, and when to have the tuning changed in the Superchip, so it all coincides for you.

Congratulations on your Lightning!
