SuperChip Micro Tuner for V-8?

Mike T.,

I read in one of your post's that The PowerStroke, and recently the V-10 computers have the ability to be programed with a Micro Tuner instead of pulling the computer and installing a Chip.

I wanted to know if there was any posibility that SuperChips is going to come out with a Micro Tuner for the V-8 computer, in my case the 5.4 on my F-250 Super Duty?

It would be great to be able to just plug in the Micro Tuner to the OBDII and upload the program like on the PS and V-10. I'm sure you would get alot more sales, especially from Owners who don't want to tackle taking out and slightly modifing the delicate Computer to install their chip.

It would be even better if they made a V-8 Micro Tuner had the Flip Chip program on it.

To me it seems possible, but I'm no SuperChip Scientist .
Maybe it is already in the making?

Thanks Mike,

Hi phildacf150,

The only Ford vehicle that new Micro Tuner is available for is the Powerstroke Diesel, not the V-10 gas engines or any others, just the Powerstroke Diesel.

In the future, as time goes by and Ford eventually changes the design of their ECU to actually *require* this significantly more expensive (in the case of the F-150) type of device to deliver the performance tuning to the ECU, then Superchips will eventually release a unit for the F-150. It's not going to be anytime soon though.
