Hi mwolve40,

Welcome to F-150 Online!

Well, the maximum rated gains from the Superchip for the 260 hp version of the 5.4 are 28 horsepower and 46 lbs./ft., but that will vary in reality based on weather conditions, fuel quality, the individual vehicle, altitude, etc., all the same factors that will affect the power output of any gas motor stock or modified.

In round numbers, we say to look at the Superchip as about a 10% power gainer, as generally, regardless of exactly how much power your particular engine made stock, or what altitude you're at, with good quality premium gasoline you'll see about 10% more power than you had before from the Superchip. That number might be a full 28 HP in your case, or it might be 25, etc., depending on the factors mentioned above.

It also improves the automatic transmission shifting, removes top speed limiter, and some other things. If you'd like to go over any of that in more detail, please feel free to give us a call, our contact info is just below.

Good luck with your Expy, & we hope you'll hang out with us here when you have a bit of spare time!
