Talking The Chip is in

I got the chip today ....and installed it...

the install went smooth........ took my time and actually read every thing.... and retained my manhood

A bit tedious.... cleaning the circuit board where you attach the chip..... but when I fired it up..... all systems go....

I removed the battery during install .... to make it not so cramped... proably not necessary.....but easy..........

also............ the mentioned trick about putting a towel over space by the kick board..... (good idea) saved me some work ....as I did drop the clip....

I am salivating ...waiting for this current tank of 87 octane go get used up ...so I can run it on the 92 octane program

even in 87 I notice the shifting is improved.....it seem to run a bit smoother..... and just slightly quicker.....

see ya....

Mike

Hi Mike,

Glad you're up and running and enjoying your Superchip Flip Chip.

You're right, it does shift better and run a bit better, accleerating a bit quicker even on the 87 octane program. Once you've run a couple of tank of premim thru it, you'll be getting everything it can do on the premium gas side.

Have fun!
