Unhappy Toook the chip out for the winter

Twas a cool autumn eve, when all was damp and wet,
a fresh rainfall had just trickled to make it even colder.
It was time to take the chip out, and the clear corners and tailights for the winter....
Man, this sucks...
But I look at it on the bright side,
The sooner the snow comes, the sooner I get to go sledding..

wooooohooo!

:-)

Ok, I have to go change my shorts again..

Hi Morley & V10 Man,

Morley, good to see you again, it's been quite awhile!

V10 Man, Morely might have taken it out due to the fact that he lives up in the Great White North, and he has a custom program for extra-firm shifitng in his Superchip. That might preclude him being able to drive it on ice, etc. though I'm just guessing here as to his reasoning. We did the custom program for to make it shift extra-firm, so that might have something to do with it. A number of our other customers will use the Flip Chip for that reason, to have a softer shift in Winter and an extra-firm shift in Summer, etc. I'm sure Morley will clue us all in.

Hey Mike and folks,

Yeah the snow and ice makes it hard to drive on, when the truck
is hitting hard on it's upshift, you kinda lose the *** end
of the truck when the roads are covered in snow..
Plus, I figured that it's cheaper on gas for the winter
since I'm going to be sinking in 40$ tanks into my sled
all winter long.. It's kinda like a comprimise...
I am what you can call a sledhead... I eat, drink, sleep and
ahummm... snowmobiles... LOL

It's 85 degrees outside, mid July and all I can think about
it starting up that 2 stroke in the garage and getting high
on the fumes....

Ok, I'm going to go change shorts again,

;-)

Hi Tweaker,

Great to hear from you again!

Hey, we all have our passions, yours just happens to be snowmobiles!

I kinda thought those firmer shifts might be tough to deal with on snow & especially ice. You could lose control in an instant, especially around a curve.

Have fun enjoying your winter toys!
