Dyno Test

Has anyone ever dyno tested their trucks before installing a
Superchip or a Diablo Chip ?

I think it is expensive to do.

I was just wondering, maybe this would put to end to those's who might have doubt in the numbers produced by these's CHIPS

I quess the same goes for any aftermarket mods (K&N, Pulleys, BKK, Catback exhuasts, Electric fans, Headers.Nos, Superchargers)

Mike does your company routinely dyno test truck/suv before and after applying any chip ?

I think it would be a great marketing tool for your company Mike.

Maybe a video, just a thought.

Superchips, as well as any of the "name" chipmakers, and most manufacturers of aftermarket performance parts do indeed dyno-test their products. In the case of performance chips, these applications are *developed* on chassis dynos to begin with, they have to be for for proper tuning, of course.

You're right, chassis dyno's aren't cheap, but to an entity like Superchips, or Edelbrick, or Magnuson, Accel, Holley, etc., it's an absolute must.

BIGREDEXPY:

It's not that expensive to test your truck on a dyno. I made 2 runs on a Dynojet last July, down in South Ga.(see sig.) and that cost me $75.00. I could have driven to Atlanta and gotten 3 runs for $65.00 but didn't want to fight the traffic, If you do a 'google.com' search on 'Dynojet' you should be able to find some in your area--make a call, and test it.
