Codes

I installed Dynatech long tube headers and high flow cats. Now i,m getting a CEL. code P0054/P0059. I think those codes are the same thing right? From what I have read, I need a programmer to fix this. Change the parameters that the computer is looking for or remove the rear O2 sensors via program. Is there a custom tune shop in Dallas Fort worth or is there another programmer you would recommend? Thank you!

No. they are not the same, they are for different sensors. HO2S Heater Resistance (Bank 1 Sensor 2) and HO2S Heater Resistance (Bank 2 Sensor 1).

Read the following 2 links:

https://www.obd-codes.com/p0054

https://www.obd-codes.com/p0059

You have problems related to the passenger side rear O2 and the driver side front O2. A programmer is not going to fix this, you have some troubleshooting to do. Possible causes:

Burnt, broken, or disconnected wiring and/or connectors
A faulty O2 sensor
Blown fuse or burnt fusible link
Defective engine control relay

-------------------------------------------

What you are thinking of is getting low catalyst efficiency codes due to high flow cats, this is what needs a tune to turn off the rear O2's or antifoulers on the rear O2's to fool them. Those codes would be P0420 and P0430.
