I will send another email to %Star on Tuesday

Have it shipped somewhere else, do you have a relative or friend in another state? Just return the tune to stock a couple weeks before a smog check. You should get it for no other reason than to correct your speedometer/odometer.

You can do a forwarding service... my buddy in Cali uses: https://www.usa2me.com/

If I recall correctly they give you a Texas address and then forward your mail to your real address... I hear it works quite well for stuff like this.

Did you buy canned tunes or custom tunes?

so far, I have just ordered the programmer, once I actually get it in my hands, I will be contacting them, with my computer numbers and get them to custom write the tunes for my truck. I will be getting the 2v auto 87 performance, 87 tow, and 91 performance

just ordered a Spectre CAI for my truck, so when I get my tuner, I will take that into account when I contact 5Star about my custom tunes.

should I be looking to get 2v auto 87 performance, 87 tow, and 91 performance or something else? I think I get 3 tunes with it (more can be purchased later)

Running the canned 5.4L F-150 Tune, with 87 Octane, No Speed Limiter, and 4.56 gearing

got my spectre cai, haven't put it in yet, the reason I went with the spectre CAI, is that it should be better than the oe setup, and I need to stay CARB compliant, the Gott's mod doesn't look factory, and will likely get me failed by a smog technician on visual

as far as my speedometer, it is now only 10 mph @ 65mph ---- when the car says 65 mph, I am actually going 75 mph

I think you can correct that yourself in the tune. Look for tire revs per mile, play with that.

If I use the tire revs for mile thing, will I need to do that again when I get my custom tune?

Also, any reason to not go with true duals on the f150?

Good possibility.

If you do true duals, make sure you use an X-pipe.
