Worthwhile chips or tunes to increase mileage
#2
Well, without any idea what you are driving, that could be good mpg or not so much...
In general, I hear you can get a magnet and place it on the fuel line and that's supposed to increase mpg's... Or you can get this "fan" thing you put in the air intake and that's supposed to help too..
I'm not an actual grandpa, but old enough to be one!
Good luck!

So, we are getting warmer... How many miles? Ever had a plug change? Fuel filter change? Air cleaner change? How are you calculating the mpgs? Is this all hwy miles or just city or combo?
If it's got 33" tires, the speedo is likely off a tad.. So, the miles shown on the odo will be less than actual. So, even if you are using actual gallons and your odo miles, it's gonna be off a tad.

Make sure the speedometer and odometer are correct. You can check it with a gps or time the truck between mile markers on the interstate. If it is off, a tuner can correct it.
I used to run stock size 265/70x17 P metric Michelins pumped up to 40 psig to improve the gas mileage. I checked it twice on trips to and from Homestead FL to Wilmington NC about 800 miles. It was 4 lane almost all the way and i set the cruise on 80 mph most of the way and it got 16.0 mpg. Since then I retired and don't drive it as much but I do like to drive out on the beach so I went to 285/70x17 tires and I'm sure that reduced my fuel mileage some.
