New to the tuning scene with the 99 F150 (5.4L). In the past I've worked with the old EEPROM chips that I was able to un-solder and reflash using customized .bin files.

I plan to get my hands on a VCM II with IDS software this time around and was wondering of it's capabilities since I've never used one. I know it's capable of tuning; is it possible to load a tune similar to the way you can load them with a stand alone tuner? Or does it only allow modification of individual parameters when connected?

Can anyone recommend any websites that might be a good learning or file resources?
