Superchips concern !!
I have a superchip obtained from a friend that I
thought about getting re-burned for my 5.4 F-150.
Where is the cheepest place to get it done and phone #, address of company. Also I noticed a
a lot of Superchips for sale on this board. Is there something wrong with them, like not performing like the claims , or what? Thanks

We can handle that for you and get your Superchip reprogrammed to your computer code, just shoot us an email or give us a call, & we can go over all the specifics with you, our contact info is just below. With regards to why you see Superchips offered for sale here, the Webmaster offers free classified ads here on this site, and many people will take advantage of that to sell all kinds of products they have no use for anymore, or may want to generate more money to get other modifications, etc. Many people trade in vehicles for other makes, or upgrade to 2-program Flip Chips, etc., it has nothing to do with the Superchip not living up to it's claims. As you spend more time here in this section of these message boards, you'll find that the Superchip is generally considered to be the best of it's kind by it's owners. You can go back and read thru these message boards among all the posts that people make aftert installing their Superchips, and you'll find that the vast majority are very happy with their Superchips.
One important aspect of that is to have a reasonable expectation of what the Superchip will actually do for these vehicles. In the F-150's various engines, the Superchip gives about a 10%-12% gain in horsepower, and 13%-15% more torque. In round numbers, think of the Superchip as a 10% power-gainer, and that's about what your vehicle will feel like from installing the Superchip, like you picked up about 10% more motor under the hood, so to speak. So it's not going to feel like a supercharger, but for the money, it's the best bang-for-the-buck mod you can do to most of these vehicles, and well worth it's cost.
As you spend more time here on F-150 Online, you'll find out more and more about just about any aspect of these vehicles, from performance to appearance to just about anything, and among all of that are plenty of comments & feedback from many different people, much of which you'll probably find helpful to you.
