97 f150 4.6 5sp should I use a programmer and why?
I have a chance to buy an edge evolution for my 4.6 5sp, is it worth it?

Nope, they have cable issues that can disable the vehicle and it's no longer supported.

Do they still sell the cables? Will php still write a tune for it?

You need to contact PHP with those questions. I don't think so on both.
