I'll hang around this thread to see when you have any news, Eric. If you need my help after the appointment on Saturday, just let me know.

Do you remember if it down shifted from 2nd to 1st before it was tuned?
Yes, it has always downshifted from 2nd to 1st.

Mine did the 2-1 downshift with a big slam when stock. Since tuned by 5*, MPT and SSI all of the clunking is gone. MPT's race tune and my SSI tuning actually has my tranny doing a buttery 2-1 downshift that made my exhaust burble a little - very nice. Not quite a "heel toe" rev matching downshift but close.

Took it to the dealer today. $120 to flash the ECM and TCM. Seems to be doing well. I'll know better on Monday when I go to work. I am a homebuilder and drive a lot of stop-n-go all day. That'll be the true test.

Drove about 100 miles today. No slamming or jerking from 2nd to 1st. I think the flash did the trick. Only thing now is that my electric fan seems to be coming on a lot more than it should. Coolant temp is fine.
I have to take it back in in a couple weeks anyway... need to get new axle seals now that we've fixed this issue.
Thanks to all that chimed in. Have a great rest of your week.
Eric
