Edge programmer questions

I have a 2006 f150 xlt 5.4 and a level kit with 35's. I am looking for some more boost in my truck, and wondering if an edge programmer with help with the reduced acceleration because of the 35's. Also, what would I have to do to run a CAI with a programmer. Custom tunes from PHP?

Yes and yes. Buy the Edge from PHP and custom tunes will be half price. The other option is a SCT device from one of the reputable tuning houses.

Hi & welcome!

Best option (and actually costs less than what you had in mind):

BTW - you should really be saving up fer a gear swap to 4.10's or deeper.

So could I get a Regular edge for now, and if I want to run an intake buy tunes for the programmer?

I would still buy it from PHP and get custom tunes. If you get an intake, just order new tunes.

I have an Edge Evo and converted it to a "Gryphon". I ordered a custom tune from PHP 4 weeks ago and still have not received it. They are so slow. I emailed PHP this morning and only got a read receipt. I will NEVER use PHP ever again!
I have a 2014 Mustang with custom tunes from Steeda and it only takes them a couple of days to write and email them to me.
