I have a 2001 2WD Screw with 120k and a partially slipping first gear. Ive heard a lot of good things about chips and would like to put one on my truck. Would the benefit of slight customization outweigh more wear and tear on an older truck?

 

I'd be weary of chipping/programming anything that's already has existing mechanical problems. You run chances of it being more pronounced and/or making it deteriorate faster. Just my 2 cents.
