Hi Mark WELCOME

The warranty issue has been discussed much here, dig alittle deeper.

Sorry, dont know about warranty/canada. You should get an answer about that. Have some good truckers on this site from Canada, and of course USA & even other countries!

Good luck. OT

I think most or all of the search functions are "Tango Uniform", becasue of all the problems Steve has had with the server etc. Won't void warranty in USA, but don't know about Canada. I am sure Mike will know.

I've heard that it does void your warranty in Canada but not from any reliable sources.

I'm hoping Mike knows for sure.

Hi Mark_911,

Welcome to F-150 Online!

Here in America, we have the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (among others) to protect us, and it gives us the right to dfo anything we want to our vehicles, as long as we do not cause *damage* requiring repair.

There in Canada, you get the very same US-spec F-150's (and most other vehicles) that we do, they aren't built any different for export to Canada.

However, I cannot speak intelligently about your actual legal rights there in Canada or any other country, I have to apologize, as I just don't have that information. I do know that none of our Canadian customers havereported having any problems to us, but that doesn't tell you what your actual *legal* rights are, so you might want to check on that.

You can get more info on what we have here in America to protect us by dropping by this link: www.sema.org/fedleg/warranty

Perhaps that may be of some help in researching your legal rights there in Canada. Sorry I don't have the legal answer for you, but it should be easy to find.

Should be okay in the US. I have a local Ford Dealership that installs them! Obviously, they are okay with it.

Hi Mark_911,

If you happen to come across the law, if any exists, regarding the use of aftermarket parts and their potential effect on new vehicle warranty there in Canada, if you wouldn't mind, please let me know, so we can make that same information available to any other Canadian customers as well.
