Shout out 5* Tuning

Just wanted to give another shout out to 5* tuning, Mike's product is unbelievable & he's a well grounded individual if you speak/email with him. NO BS!

My situation, '09 5.4 SCREW, 33" tires & full exhaust work... wanted to do a little something, but not overkill like some folks on these boards since I have to meet with physicians, take my kids around and my wife doesn't want our truck to be any more "unique".

Highly recommend and will be a future customer as vehicles come and go. Thanks again Mike.

Like what a truck should feel like, thanks for your input Cheef. Not a dragster, but doesn't feel like it's trying to tow an aircraft carrier anymore either!

That's good news. Which tune are you running?

Have to toss in my 2 cents as well. Just got my tunes in an email from 5Star and Mike there has been quick to respond to my emails, answered all my questions and as helpful as possible. I shot him the email with my strategy code last night, and have three custom tunes in my inbox first thing this morning. If the tunes are half as good as everybody says I can't see how I will be disappointed. Looking forward to playing this weekend!

87 PT & Econo, 93 PT; nothing crazy, but it definitely has returned a smile to my face every time I drive it.

Tuning results from the dyno look impressive This will likely be one of the candidates when I decide to go this route. Though likely dialing back the maximum performance from 75HP/100TQ favoring longevity and durability over the long term. 45HP/65TQ perhaps?

First post.....sorry for the newbie style...still trying to navigate the site. Anyway, does anyone one have experience with their product and the 3.5L Ecoboost? If so, what has been you experience? Also, how does using something like this impact the warranty? Thanks.

Talking Mike is Great

Ordered tuner on Wens and just installed it at noon today. I got the 5 tune option and I am excited to drive it. Mike answered any question I had that I could not find on this site! He responded quickly. I did have a good bit of issues navigating and using his new site but an email solved my issues. I will update you as I drive the truck. I installed the 87 performance tow on my 2010 Supercrew 5.4l for my first custom tune. Keep you updated.

no experience with ecoboost and 5star but i would search 0 to 60mph ecoboost 5star on youtube.com as far as warranty impact, sherri told me the dealership cant tell. she told me that people say the dealership can tell and the dealership cant tell. I have heard the dealership CAN tell that your ecm has been flashed, but they cant tell if mickey mouse flashed it or your new 5star SCT flashed it. I have been told the exact same by Mike himself. Im ordering mine next week and can NOT WAIT! btw mike is doin 5custom tunes now

It works

Used the 93 economy and 87 economy tune and capture the results. Got a 9% increase in fuel mileage with the 93 vs the 87, which justifies the 5% difference in cost of the fuel. Going to verify over a few more tanks, but results are promising. Thanks Mike!
