Gryphon DTC problems HELP PLEASE!
Gryphon DTC problems HELP PLEASE!
My engine an 04 5.4 on the passenger side has a ticking clunking noise when warming up and at a idel. Today when i got done at my river property trail riding my gryphon showed me 4 DTC Alerts. Then cut off my engine, this freaked me out. The codes were in this order, P0340, P0345, P0606, P2106. I know that first two have to do with the camshaft or throttle body. I dont know what the last two are about. Any information with this problem would really help me out. Would these codes have to do with the noise when warming up? Please give me some advice on what to do. Thank you.

1. are you running canned or custom tunes, please indicate what one this happened on???
2. are you up on YOUR maintenance....cleaning throttle body, maf and changing the fuel filter???
3. if you've never done anything in step 2. then do them....there's write ups in the "how to" section of this forum....
before you do any of the things in step 2. put your truck back to stock and disconnect the negative and turn the headlights on.....now do the step 2. items....now turn the headlights off and reconnect the battery.....drive the truck 200-300 miles before loading any tune back on the ecm.....
4. now if the codes reoccur then you're going to have to have somethings looked at....
the p0606 is the one that concerns me the most....
Engine Control Module power supply is open or shorter
You're going to have to look at your connections, wiring, and fuses for the ecm.
p2106...throttle actuator control....this could of been caused by the canned tow tune.....hopefully the battery disconnect cures this.
p0345+p0340....cam position sensor....
with these two plus the p0606 I'm wondering if you don't have a bad connection, wiring issue, or the altenator is giving up

I am running custom 93 performance tune. I am going to clean my throttle body, check replace my fuel filter and check the maf. Thanks for ur input. Ill see how it goes and post a check up after im done. The noise is a rattling clunking noise kinda has a tick to it from the passenger side of the engine. Thanks again
88racing i cleaned throttle body and MAF today. Drove it on the highway no more DTC codes. I also went and got a new fuel filter changing it in the morning. Thanks for your input it seems the noise on the passenger side is also gone. If anything it might be a loose belt. She is running much better thank you!
PS: Still running the custom tunes and no DTC problems
