the wife sells progressive insurance and got us those snapshot things to try and get a discount and an ipad, its a promotion for agents. if i unplug my evo will it keep the tune? im assuming yes but want to be sure.

The edge tune is loaded into your ECU. Your Edge is just a monitor when it's not loading a tune.

So to answer your question, yes you can unhook the Edge Evo.
