Hi cajunfiref150,

There is no such thing as any one stock 1/4 mile time, or any one Superchip'd 1/4 mile time in these F-150's.

The deal is, there are many different configurations for the F-150, mechanically, body, transmission, cabs, beds, driveline, even different frames! You can have a light 5.4 automatic weighing just 450 lbs. or so, and you can have a very heavy 4.2 V-6 4x4 Supercab weighing upwards of 6000 lbs, and everything in between. Ther are some F-150's well over 6500 lbs.

However, here is some rough info just to give you an idea........

The quickest F-150 that isn't a Lightning, bone-stock is a 1999 or newer 2wd short-cab 5.4, and the quickest ones can run about a 15.7 bone-stock under ideal conditions. They drop about a half-second from their 1/4 mile times with the Superchip.

Our newest 2001 F-150 here at Performance, which is a 5.4 4X4 ORP, one of the heaviest models made, ran only an 18.44 @ 80 mph bone-stock in it's first drag strip outing.

And there are some F-150's that are even slower than that 18.44, if you take a 4.2 V-6 4X4 Super Cab model, you can easily have a 20-second ET in the 1/4 miles.

All of them will drop anywhere from 3 tenths of a second to as much as a full second off their 0-60 & 1/4 mile times from the Superchip, the mean average is about a half-second reduction in the 1/4 mile times, on any model of F-150.

I hope that helps a bit, and please feel free to give us a call if you'd like to go over the details for your specific vehicle and what you can expect the Superchip to do for you.

Good luck with your truck,

Cool

HI!... CAJUNFIREF150 : My truck (read lower SIG) when totally stock ran a 16.01e.t at SPARTA DRAGWAY in the middle of SUMMER , Temp was about 90 degree's and the humidity was very high. I ran my truck down the track with my SUPERCHIP installed from a few months before. It ran 15.38e.t. I then removed the chip and ran it again about 15 minutes later and ran 16.01e.t bone stock. This is the best way to test the chip because when you run the chip 1st you don't have to worry about the chip's learn time to affect the results. When you remove the chip the computer returns to the stock factory program. A lot of people make the mistake of running stock 1st and THEN installing the chip for the 1st time at the track. This is a no, no. Hope this helps you out and let us all know how you make ou with your truck at the track, chipped and un-chipped.

Hi Raoul,

Great to see you again!

Unfortunately, you're too late in his case.

However, you're still the quickest stock 5.4 I've seen with that 15.7 run @ VMS!

I've never checked mine, but I have been down the track in cars that are meant to go down the track... I'd say I get about .5 second or so with the Expy. The engine definately has more kick and the trans shifts make up the rest...
Really one of the "Best Bangs For the Buck!" If you want a quick and easy performance increases!

Can be hard on fuel consumption in SOME cases, not all!
