1/4 mile times for 01L w/superchip
Well add me to your long list of satisfied customers Mike! I didn't get to run the truck the way I wanted too because the strip was packed. The wait was about 1 1/2 hrs just to get a pass. I wanted to run stock first then try the street side and finally the strip side last. Well after seeing all the cars I threw the racing fuel in and decided to just go all out! My first run I ran a 13.56@101. For my second run I launched at 1500 and pulled a 13.45@102. The chip was installed at the track so once it learns a little more I feel I can get down to 13.3's easy. How much gain would I get with ET streets? I would love to get in the 12's. Thanks again Mike!!!
Hi Strikes 2,
Thanks, glad to hear you're having fun.
It would be helpful if I knew what the weather conditions were when you ran, temp, humidity, barpometric pressure & altitude, along with seeing all the data from your time slip. 60 ' times, 1/8 mile times & mph, etc., that would help to hipshot it a bit more.
Since I don't know what kind of "short time" you ran or what the traction conditions were at the track, I'd just hazard a wild guess and say that with a good set of slicks, you can usually knock one to two tenths off the short times alone, which could put you down to 13.3's, all else being equal.
In your present state of tune, with good traction conditions & decent weather, you should be able to rip off some oh, high-1.8's for your short times, perhaps.
It's not that hard to get into the 12's, it has been done with just what you have there, a good chip and an intake kit with a set of slicks, that has dropped a lot of guys down to 13.0's and a number of 12.9's under good conditions, so you're not far away.
