Buddy gave me a tuner. Put it on and have 3 trouble codes and no speedo. Check engine light is on. Will a ford flash fix this? It was fine before.

 

He probably needs to remove the tune from his back to the tuner? Most won't go without the swap back to OEM. Your going to have to get a tune. Did you try installing it again?

 

Need more info. What year of truck. What tuner. Are you saying the truck runs with the tune? Are the tunes canned or custom?

 

They were troyer tunes on sct tuner. His truck burnt to the ground. No getting that tune. 2006 fx4

 

Was able to drive it home. Codes were p0500, p1000,and p1502

Maybe all the muddin ol red sees has finally burned out the speedo? Or maybe its just tired and taking a break from spinning those narly 35's?
Could be lots of things............Xcal 2? I doubt it!
Besides, everyone knows real fords didnt have a pcm!!

Just messin with you man!! Im digging to try and figure this out too. Try and give somebody sumtin for nuthin see where it gets me. Plumbing rates go up all across the board next week! Let me know if you hear anything.

Yes plumbing rates will have to go up for a week. He does drive a Chevy.cracked head,every valve rattles exhaust ticks. That's how I remember how to spell Chevrolet

 

If it was a Troyer custom tune, the chances of it working on your truck is about 10,000 to 1. The dealer will probably have to flash the PCM back to stock and you will have to get tunes based on the PCM's hex code info.
