As much as I enjoyed my Gryphon, I'd have to recommend the SCT and go with a reputable SCT tuner. PHP's response time became pretty much unacceptable for me; however, that was earlier this Spring. It may be better now.

Quality-wise, it's pretty much a wash IMHO. Just my .02.

Looks fantastic to me, bud!

Love the siggy quote, too! One of my favorite H.S. Thompson quotes is, "I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me."

From what I hear, the SCT is a better device. You can get that and still run PHP tunes on it if you want.

Sct gryphon makes for incredible gauges but response time, tuning quirks etc are pushing me to a local tuner and sct device. IMO any serious nods should be dyno'd in person. I know people do email all the time but I'd rather have someone who knows my truck, can touch it and fix things immediately during the tuning process.

I'm sorry, but there has been alot written about "remote tuning" and especially with blowers, etc, none of it is any good IMHO...head to a dyno shop that can properly tune your engine....if you are lucky, they can use your current box saving you a few $'s.

^ ^ Yeah. Nobody has anything good to say about email tunes, huh? Sheesh.....

Anyway, if you're running a lightly modded, NA engine, you're fine with a reputable 'remote' programmer.

Unfortunately, nobody can custom tune an Edge/Gryphon except PHP.
