Exclamation ====)> Need help choosing a programmer

I am having an issue finding a programmer that suits me..
Currently I have an Edge Evolution in my 08 f-150 5.4l , BUT am in the works of getting some custom exhaust built. I am going with OBX LT headers, omitting the CATs altogether, going with 2.5 inch true duals , custom x-pipe, and Borla Pro xs muffers to 3.5" rollers out the back.
Need something thats half decently easy to use but wont restrict me from customizing my tune. Easy interface +

Thanks, any feedback is helpful

Howdy, bud.

Since you have an EVO already - go directly to www.gopowerhungry.com and get yer unit converted to a Gryphon - and choose any custom tunes you wish.

Yer lowest-cost, most direct option.

Good luck!

With your setup, regardless of brand of tuner/programmer, a custom tune is what you need since deleting your cats and adding the l/t's.

I have both used and new SCT X3 units in stock should you decide to go with a SCT tuner, shoot me a PM if interested!

Coming from the Lightning world. The best thing to do is ask your tuner what he prefers to tune with. Some only use one tuning devise others may use all of them. That's best way to go about this. And yes you will have to go with a custom tune to get the emissions stuff turned off. Me personally with my old Lightning I used Diablo Sport.

I hear ya, sir. And that is indded good advice.

I'm just trying to preserve the OP's significant investment in the hardware he already owns. Luckily, he already has a platform that is remotely updateable to a full custom tuned device.

Bill Cohron - owner and tuner @ PHP, is one fantastic tuner. You will be very happy with his custom calibrations.

Good luck!

the OP can just use what he already has as MGDfan has already suggested.......Bill at Power Hungry can upgrade the EVO and write custom tunes for those mods....

Yep! That's why I said regardless of which brand, just wanted to let OP know for his setup, he needs a custom tune as a canned or preloaded tune wouldn't cut it for his setup.
