Picking up a used livewire

Supposed to be going to pick up a used SCT Livewire tuner friday for 250. The guy said it was for a 5.4 but I looked around and everything I read says it will work for the 07 4.6 as well as bunches of other ford vehicles too. Am I correct in assuming this?

If so what all should I look for or know about this particular one?

I'm mainly getting it to correct tire size for now then later on future mods. Bonus of canned tunes too, i'm sure there better than the stock tune.

Let us know how you like it. Im interested in getting one for my truck too. Good choice tho. Most people go with an edge but the potential of the live wire is much better for future mods

Love it man. Ordered a 87 Performance tune from Mike at 5 Star Tuning. Had the tune back to me in 45 minutes. Gave Mike the wrong info on my truck and he fixed it for me even after his business hours. Asked for a slight adjustment on the tune and he did it and had it back to me about an hour later. GREAT Guy to deal with, awesome customer service. I'm going to him from now on and I recommend anyone to try him out.

EDIT - too late, I see - my bad

Check to make sure the screen is healthy - view it plugged into the truck. Menu functions and control wheel work? Does the brightness& contrast controls work? Cables included & in good repair - screen not scratched, etc.

Manual & software available fer download from SCT's site.

Confirm the canned tunes available on SCT's site fer yer MY.

MOST IMPORTANTLY - Ensure it's been returned to Stock!

www.vmptuning.com - you can get custom calibrations for $59 fer 1; $99 fer two, and $129 fer three ...

Good luck!

lol Thanks MGD. Only thing that I had an issue was with downloading the canned tunes. I downloaded the file and uploaded to the livewire and I didn't see any. Took forever too for some reason, like 2 hours to upload.
