Edge Evo in '11 5.0L

After waiting for the release for what seems like forever, I bought the Evo the day that support for the 5.0L was announced.

I bought it with the hopes of being able to run in 6th with my travel trailer attached. Up till now, it'll go into 6th, but even on the flat, it won't hold it. I've had to lock out 6th and run in 5th whenever I tow. This works fine, but it's not as efficient as I'd like.

I set up the Evo to show mph (my truck's CDN and I drive a lot in the US, so the km/h analog speedo is hard to read in mph), TFT and Gear with TCL.

I'm currently running Level 1 "Economy".

I just did a six+ hour one way hour road trip (Niagara Falls to NYC) with four people and luggage in the truck. I drove like my usual old-man self. No quick starts and speed right at the limit. My mileage was 21.8 for the trip...not bad .

My question is this: Why did I never see the "Padlock" logo in the TCL area? At 65 mph on the Interstate, I assume my TC is locked. Is this functionality missing in the 5.0L F150 PIDs?
