Scan Gauge 2

Can a scan gauge 2 be used with a superchip programmer? i have a 2002 screw 4x4 w/ a 5.4

are they worth the money? i am mainly wanting the trans temp gauge. but the other fetures will be nice

Again - yep.

Extensibility via X-Gauge is a treat.

Great trip / mileage computer as well.

Mine too. Scan Guage II with a SuperChips Flashpaq 1815 (the old one that is now discontinued).

I usually watch trans fluid temp, intake air temp, miles per hour and water temp.

With stock 3.55's and 33x1250's = up to 210* was common going up hills to my shooting spot, hovered in the 180-185 range.
With stock 3.55 and 32x11's = up to 200* was common going up hills, hovered in the 178-182 range.
With 4.56 and 32x11's = highest I've seen is 198* and that was on a 2 hour "spirited driving" freeway trip. Normally in the 168-172 range on a hot day. My trans fluid hasn't been changed since regearing, so it might be a bit cooler with fresh fluids that haven't been heated up to 200*+.
