SCT X3 error 1019
Has anyone here ever had the 1019 "Unlock ECM Falied" error code? I just received my SCT X3 with custom tunes done by VMP Tuning, and whenever I try to program my pickup (2001 F150 5.4) it sits there trying to unlock the ECM for probably 20-25 minutes and then it comes up with this error code. What are some possible causes for this error code?
Thanks for your time.

Rufus indicated one.
Here are some others;

... there are many, many more (Google/Search criteria = the exact error message)
If it's not something simple like key position, you'll need to contact VMP and/or SCT.
Good luck.

My "Unlock ECM Failed" is apparently caused by the PCM making the determination that theft is occurring and setting a P1260 - 'Theft Detected - Vehicle Immobilized' code. At that time the SCT X3 responded with "SCT error 1019 - Unlock ECM Failed".
I have found lots of discussion on this subject but no solution short of towing the vehicle to the Ford dealer to have the PCM reflashed.
I found some comments on 'disconnecting battery' and 'touching ground cable to positive post of the battery' but that seems a little simple for what Ford considered a very sophisticated security system.
What was the solution to the OP's original problem or any other input to the PATS problem?
