I was reloading my 87 perf-tow tune and was hoping to dial down the 1-2 shift firmness just a tad. From the "do you want to modify before download" area, the only parameters I could find were rear end, tire size, speed limiter, idle, spark.
Are the parameters I were hoping to find not user adjustable ? I see in other threads where folks have been reffering to changing shift firmness.
Thanks.

why are you changing them?
You only have one recourse, then. Well, two actually ..... leaving it alone counts as well
Bear in mind, one of the benefits of custom tuning is, the discussion around what attributes you want in the tune occurs first, then the tune is constructed to supply those attributes.
This minimizes any need for end-user tinkering, as such tinkering can deteriorate the quality of the tune.
Hence, the typical (but not universal) end-user adjustment restrictions.
BTW - 2010 w/6speed has a TCM - it's possible some of those adjustments are not yet available as end-user items - and need to be addressed by the tunin' feller within the TCM portion of the calibration. Those references you saw may have been folks with older trucks - 2008 or older, or trucks with 4-speeds ( no TCM).
