Superchips VIVID LINQ updates

We are just about ready to release the long awaited VIVID LINQ to consumers and have pre-released the software download to the Android marketplace for your to download. This software includes a demo version allowing you to preview all of the applications. The VIVID software suite works on Android phones and tablets running the 2.2 OS or higher.

Here is the direct Link to download the app to your device: https://market.android.com/details?i...XBzLnZpdmlkIl0

We have been testing several Android phones over the past few months to make sure we cover a wide variety of manufacturers and screen sizes.

A list of tested phones has been linked on our web site under the VIVID LINQ page: http://www.superchips.com/Store/VIVI...iddevices.aspx

The devices listed in the link are a mere fraction of the Android products out on the market. If you do not see your particular Android device listed it does not mean that device is not supported. We suggest that you download the free VIVID demo to verify compatibility with your device prior to purchasing the VIVID LINQ tuning device.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Scott

super chip and airaid question

Being you are the superchip rep, I was wondering if superchips is matched with airaid CAI and flowmaster exhaust. I think the term would be matched, maybe I am asking if superchips does tuning for both, making having the trio of a Airaid CAI, a flowmaster exhaust and a superchip tuner (I know there are many types maybe a break down with numbers would help) would help improve gas mileage

thank you

perform tasks such as "data logging", but then they are removed and stored in a safe place. There are also other, minor differences in features between all different models.

Yes we do offer a custom file specific to the Airaid intake for the 2010 F150 4.6L 3v and 5.4L. It will help maxamize performance/fuel mileage gains between the two products and will also help stabalize the vehicles air/fuel ratio's to improve driveability.

Here are the performance gains by the numbers:

5.4L 3v
Stock dyno numbers: 253 HP @ 5300 RPM & 288.5 TQ @ 3600 RPM
Superchips/Airaid custom performance tune: 260 HP & 310 TQ

4.6L 3v
Stock dyno numbers: 258 HP @ 5600 RPM & 288 TQ @4000 RPM
with Airaid custom performance tune: 270.5 HP & 310 TQ

The addition of performance mufflers does not require any custom tuning.

Thank you scott
I am new to this upgrade thing. Whole time I lived in sanford, fl, I didnt know you guys were around the corner. But people love your products. what is the 3V. Is that 3 valve? Again still new here. I have the 2010 ford F150 platinum, with the 5.4 so the numbers look good to match with mine.
I understand that there is a whole lot that goes into gas mileage but are there some numbers you guys have, assuming that you are doing everything else correct. (ie propper air in tires, tune ups, oil change, good driving habits, etc)
thanks again sir

Yes sorry, 3v is short for the 3 valve engines.

The numbers quoted were with our performance tune installed using 91 octane. Our mileage tune will emphasize more on fuel mileage so the performance gains will be decreased but the quality and drivability will still be top notch.

I usually tell people looking for mileage gains that the programming won't do it alone. Having given you the opportunity to improve your mileage with our fine tuning it will still require a change in driving style by you in order for it to work.

If performance is your desire and your foot uses the power offered I can't guarantee that you will see any fuel improvements.

You basically have to change the way you drive to a more moderate style for the changes to be seen. Less throttle off the line and allow the vehicle to get into a final drive gear will provide you with fuel mileage rewards.
