Mike, when I got my Superchip?
Mike, I was wondering...when I purchased my Superchip should I have been asked any specific questions about the setup? Besides the computer code of course. It has always kinda bothered me that he just burned the chip with nothing but the code. Is it just cut & dry that's all he needed? Also, what kind of mods require a reprogram? What do I need to do to get ti reprogrammed? The dealer that I bought it from is back in Vegas. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Toby!
That's an *excellent* question, and it depends on just what types of modifications you have done.
For example, nothing in your signature list of mods requries custom programming. Things like K&N air filters, airbox kits, cat-back exhaust systems, those types of things do not require any custom programming to compensate for in these late-model F-150's.
The types of modifications on these vehicles that *do* require custom programming are if you change to an aftermarket MAF (mass airflow meter), and then it's basically the "major mods", things like superchargers, ported cylinder heads, nitrous oxide, etc.
In your case, with the mods you have listed, you'll be fine, you don't need any custom programming.
One thing I do want to mention however, and that is, if that B&M piece you're using is their $40 electronic "shift improver" that splices into the ECU wiring harness, I'd suggest getting that thing off of there before you do damage to your transmission's shift solenoids, or worse. Those units merely spike the voltage signal being sent to the shift solenoids and hammers them harder, wearing them out quicker. That type of device is not at all good for your transmission, so if that's what you have, please give some thought to removing it. If you want a really stiff shift, then put a good shift kit in it, like a Bauman or a Transgo kit, and do it "right", and you'll be able to enjoy it much longer.
Good luck Toby!
