DS Predator U7151 and AEM Brute Force
hey guys, I got an 07 with the 5.4 and threw on a AEM brute force intake last weekend. So far truck runs great with it. Also put on a magnaflow 11236, and got the predator U7151 in the mail. Great week for my truck!
Anyway, my DS Predator comes with tunes for other intakes (Roush, JLT, K/N and Airraid) but not the AEM as many of you probably already know. I haven't installed any tune on the truck yet.
Would using a canned intake tune be ok with my AEM as long as the pipe diameter where the MAF sensor is the same be ok? The AEM is 3.25, I know the Airraid is 3.5", but I'm not sure about the other 3 just yet. I had no luck on a quick net search for the intake specs, but I guess I could make some calls tmr, unless anyone on here can let me know and save me some time
I have a dealership nearby that can tune it for me for $150. Just wondering if anyone else on here has tweaked one of the canned CAI tunes and can let me know what adjustments if any would be needed to best suit the brute force. I'd rather not find out myself through rough starts, pinging and other potential problems on my way to the proper settings
If not, I'll just have the SVT department at the dealership handle it for me, thx!
