Gryphon non-start need help!

Ok, i did post on PHP's forum already, i took the truck into for service today. Reset the programmer back to stock and unplugged it. Got it back, truck was running, went to upload my custom 87 perf. tune.. everything uploaded, then went to start and got an error, 150. Now, truck won't start. I need to get home tonight! Called PHP, they closed at 3pm today.. what do i need to do???

I presume you have already tried to 'return to stock' ? Not sure if that would do it or not. Hopefully one of the Gryphon guys will be here soon.

Hey UJ, I hope you made it home ok. Have you tried unplugging it by any chance and try starting it? Wish I could be more of a help.

Hey Radar...yeah, I unplugged it, tried to start no dice...I believe when it does this it locks the PCM...only way to fix it is to get ahold of PHP and have them work thru it or have the dealer reflash it and lose my tunes...I have spent almost a grand on the truck in the last two weeks between a new fuel pump, new coils and plugs..was all ready to fire it up and drive it home..no go...

I guess it's safe to assume the dealer never told you either verbally or on a repair order that they re-flashed the PCM?? They should have the courtesy of telling you this just in case you might have a programmer. I know this doesn't help..just helping you rant.

Nope, actually took it to a Pep Boys right by work. I know they don't reflash but I try and make it a habbit to return it to stock when I take it in for any service. Also when I do the programming, I turn the radio off, a/c and fan off, door closed, etc...the battery is 4 months old...

Seems something went a little haywire when I went to reprogram the performance tune. Kind of like when your computer locks up. Bill called me up, I connected the programmer to the program and Bill restored my stock settings. Ran down the road to the truck, uploaded the stock prograqmming, fired it up, drove back to my office, called Bill back up, he reloaded my custom tunes, I uploaded them to the truck, and was on my way. The whole thing took maybe 1/2 hour...very easy, I was just frustrated at my truck...I. spent over a grand in two weeks on it, then got it all fixed and something happened with the programmer. But, Bill was quick to help me out...he emailed me at 5:06 am Saturday morning..customer service. Oh and the truck sucks in stock form..I could never drive it like that for any length of time..lol..
