Ok so I have an SF3 on my 08 f150 4.6. My dad has a 07 expedition 5.4, why won't it work on my dads Expy?

 

Did you return yours to stock tune? If not it is VIN locked to you.

 

yeah i returned mine back to stock! and what can i do about it?

 

my brother ran into the same trouble, sct couldnt tell him why it wouldnt work, I told him to call troyer so he did and they told him that they could do custom tunes for it. I would call them and see what they have to say

 

try updating it? what's it say when you try to load a tune on? what does it say when you check it on the handheld if it's locked? unlocked, semilocked or locked? if it's semi locked you just need to plug it into your computer and use the software and click unlock.
