Ford F150 2002 PATS problem

I have been having problems with my truck and have come to the conclusion that I have a faulty PCM. I got another PCM from a truck exactly like mine but the PATS system is keeping me from starting my truck with the new PCM.

I have read that you can use the special forces tuner to disable the PAT system. Would this work for me?

Also, I have read that you can get your new keys or something reprogrammed that will make this error go away. Do you know any company besides the dealership that can do this? I have called several repair shops and they act like they have no idea what im talking about.

The dealer has to reprogram the PCM with your VIN.
