Edge evolution between years of trucks

I have the evolution in my 99' F-150 and I just sold it and bought a 06'.
My question is if I can have the edge I've got reprogramed or if I just have to get a new one for the newer truck?

No, that unit works thru 2003 models. Then there is a unit for 2004-2008, and one for 2009 up.
