1714 troyer superchip question

Just curious-

I set stocked tuner 87 for my truck 2004 73K, 5.4 with CAI- airforce one and magowflow.

I wonder if it can adjust with rich and lean ?

For 5 years i have no problem...until recenlty...stalled for no reason and it started up with no problem...it only happens 3x in 2 months.

too much lean? more damage to engine cuz of CAI ?

I will replace fuel filter soon...

Thanks!
Jake

Hi.

No sir - you cannot.

You likely have another issue present on yer truck, though - basic maintenance should be performed - fuel filter, front O2's, TB cleaning, MAF cleaning, check FPDM for corrosion, etc, etc.

Pull codes with your handheld & post if any.

Most of this is covered in the Tech Articles section of this site.

As for the AF1 - that question is best directed at Troyer Performance themselves.

Good luck.
