Diablo or Edge?

I ordered a Diablo but have since looked at the Edge. Its slighty more but seems like you get more for your money. I like that I can use the MPG gauge and a few others. And the mount. But I'm not sure if the Edge will do what I need. I need to account for the OSS count on my new transmission. Old transmission was 6, and need to change it to 24. And if I get the Evo I will eventually gryphon it.

And those that have the Diablo, are you happy with it? And since it has to stay plugged in where do you keep it?

Most of the other models are out of my price range. I'm looking to spend right around $300, maybe a fee bucks more. I can get the Edge for right at $340. An from my understand it can later be unlocked.

And the question about the OSS count is still up for grabs. That's the main decider. Diablomike said he would hook me up with a tune for it, but I like the idea of the gauges for a few things that aren't on the cluster

The main reason I'm
Buying a tuner is to make my new transmission work with my truck. Here's a thread that explains why I need it. I know the sct and Diablo will do it, but I'm not looking to spend the money for an SCT. And would prefer the Evo over te Diablo if it will work

correct me if i'm wrong but i believe you are looking at an edge EVO, not CS or CTS right? these cannot be custom tuned anymore, since PHP is no longer upgrading them, so it can't be custom tuned, where as your diablo can be custom tuned and diablo mike said he'd hook you up so that's another plus there.

Oh, didn't know they weren't custom tuning the EVO anymore. And yeah, I really like Diablos service. The only reason I was liking the Evo was the gauges and customability. I try to track my mileage pretty close and liked the idea of an MPG gauge

I AM paying attention, I KNOW they are better. But I'm not looking to spend that much now. If I could wait and save I would, but the main reason for purchase is to make my new transmission work in my truck. If you can find me a Gryphon for $350 I'll get it

I was happy with the diablo, and I have also tried the edge. But I think the diablo was better.

Just copied and sent off the factory tune, I can't wait to get the custom! The whole truck is gonna be such huge improvement! I've been driving with the slipping and shuttering transmissible since August, and I'll have a new transmission, tunes AND a Efan all at once!
